It's 1942 and we are looking at Jerry from "The Bowling Alley-Cat."
He didn't change as much as Tom but in the early years his ears were smaller
and his nose was longer, he was lighter in color and he seemed to be much
more bendable. |

Then there is the "Classic" Jerry from 1949's "Hatch Up Your Troubles"
. Sharper fine line drawing and a slightly shorter tail but great animation. |

By 1954 his ears have enlarged and his individual toes have fused together...
and of course, the heavier line drawing has started to appear. The eyelashes
have also disappeared. This is from "Downhearted Duckling." |
